"Good evening and welcome to Miss Kitty's, my name is Ruth and I'm your hostess and if you'll follow me through the bar and into our parlor our beautiful ladies would like to introduce themselves to you and please note that they each have their own individual complimentary tour that they would love to take you on, don't be afraid to take one of the ladies up on their offer you are under no obligation, it's free...." It was always something similar to that I would say to greet those visiting Miss Kitty's and at the Moonlite Bunnyranch it was just a little different because there the hostess introduces the ladies including their names and I actually prefer this way, I think it's a more gentile way of doing it and I believe the ladies prefer it that way too, I think that part is a slight bit unnerving to some. A lot of people say they feel this part is demeaning to the ladies but it's not meant to be and I don't feel it is, it's simply a way of letting the clients know who's available, the ladies work 12 hour shifts and there's usually anywhere up to 3 dozen ladies in the house, it also lets the ladies know that there are clients present. I'll always remember the thunder of all those high heel running down the hall ways once the bell is rang and as they enter the parlor everyone lines up for the introductions, many times there are so many ladies working that they line up all the way through the parlor and the bar area. Sometimes the clients will ask not to have a line up but unless they are very adamant about it we always ask them to please be patient and polite and allow the ladies to introduce themselves since they've all showed up. The clients are handed a complimentary menu when they come in and you always make a little small talk to give all the ladies time to get into the parlor, the halls are long....
Once all the ladies have assembled in the parlor they introduce themselves one by one and this is where some of the etiquette I spoke of comes in. They are not allowed to flirt or do much other than state their names as this would be considered "dirty hustling" and an unfair advantage, they aren't allow to fidget or dance about, no winking anything that could be misconstrued as an unfair hustle.
Now if the client prefers not to choose a lady and go to the bar first then the ladies are not allowed to approach the gentlemen until they have been served their cocktails and once they have been served the ladies are encouraged to approach one by one and introduce themselves again and chat a little, usually around 10 or 15 minutes, if they have not convinced the client to take a complimentary tour with them within that time they are to politely excuse themselves in order to allow the other ladies to try.
This is an older picture of the bar at the Bunnyranch and in the picture you can see one of those long hall ways, can you imagine running down one of those in eight inch platform heels? I don't remember anyone ever getting hurt but a couple of times girls have literally come tumbling into the parlor or gone sliding past when they hit that hardwood floor after running or walking too quickly down the carpeted hallways. One girl was great, I can't at the moment recall which one it was but she came running down the hall, slid through the bar hit the carpet in the parlor and summer salted into the line up, sat up right in a kind of splits position, struck a pose reminding me of one of Madonna's songs and gave out a smiling "Ta Da!", it was hilarious and the entire parlor broke into laughter, it was great!When the ladies are on shift they are expected to be dressed in proper attire, no jeans, slippers, hair curlers, tennis shoes that type of thing, they are expected to look beautiful, sexy and elegant there are occasional exceptions to the rule, at least I when along with them from time to time, like if a girl had just finished a party and hadn't had time to redress, we've had a few girls in towels make a line up just didn't seem fair to penalized them for working and cause them to miss a chance at a party with a client. Usually on Friday and Saturday nights the girls will dress a bit more festive as these are very busy nights, I loved it when they were all dressed up to the max, it's a truly beautiful thing.
Now once a client decides to take a tour with a lady they will be shown around the facility and usually end up in the lady's room where they will negotiate the type of party and the cost at that time. I'll talk more about that in a later blog and discuss the menu in more detail. The shift manager's have a sophisticated intercom system that allows them to listen in on negotiations so that when the party is booked she knows for how much otherwise many girls might be feel encouraged to pocket half the money paid on their way down the hall since they split what they earn 50/50 with the house. This is not a bad deal for the ladies, the house pretty much supplies these ladies with everything they could need or want and a safe, comfortable and friendly environment to work in including health facilities, spa, hair dressers, nail salon personnel, maid service, laundry service, 24 hour drivers, all their food even vendors bring their merchandise to offer to the ladies if you think about the cost of providing all that it's not a bad deal at all! Now, if the lady can't close the deal and book a party with the client within a reasonable amount of time they come back out to the parlor area and the client can chose to tour with another lady if they choose they are not under any obligation. The lady's prices vary quite a bit some charge more than others, especially the porn stars also the ladies are not obligated to perform anything they don't want to, sometimes a client may choose them and then the lady may let him know on tour that what he is wanting is not a party she offers, she may refer him to a lady she knows who does do what he wants, he can ask for another line up or if he remembers someone else in line up he liked we'd make sure he got to tour with that lady. The ladies are not allowed to discuss partying in the parlor or bar area, they are not allowed to approach a client already with another lady unless the lady asks them too such in the case of a big fantasy of men is to have a two girl party, sometimes they ladies have preferences regarding who the other lady might be.
Every lady is required to do a thorough "dick check" before she parties with a client to look for any outward signs of any issues, mainly STD's even though they all use safe sex practices, these ladies make their living this way and the last thing they need is someone coming in and giving them something that could take them out of the line up for some time, bring their career to quick halt or even kill them, it also gives the lady a bit of a clue to the client's hygiene habits so she may suggest a shower or bath before initiating sexual activity. The ladies working in legal brothel's are required by law to submit to medical testing on a weekly basis for STD's and a blood test every 30 days and they are not cleared to work until their test results come back to the doctor's office clean and we have a copy of that report on file for each lady. I never hesitated to let anyone know that it was my opinion that it was the safest sex they could ever have, to me that's an important issue when it comes to enjoying sex, it's always much more relaxing and enjoyable if you don't have to worry about it killing you somewhere down the line!!!!
I only worked at Miss Kitty's for a few months before I transferred over to the "Big House" meaning the "World Famous Moonlite Bunnyranch" some will say the houses are equal but their not, there are several differences for one the now, "Love Ranch" sits in the middle of a cul de sac with two other popular brothels and a strip club and it seems to attract more locals attention, it gets a lot more foot traffic guys going from brothel to brothel checking them out, it also doesn't have a lot of the big name porn star draws that the Bunnyranch gets. The Bunnyranch stands all by itself in a prime location that can be seen from the main highway, it's a bit bigger since Dennis has owned it longer he has had more time to make improvements, do remodeling and such. This house tends to get the high rollers so to speak more often, the higher end clientele since it has more big name draws, also the HBO hit series, "Cathouse" has mostly been filmed entirely at the Bunnyranch. It felt great when Madame Suzette ask me to come to the Bunnyranch to work so I can only imagine that the working girls would also be excited to move to the Bunnyranch and when I did go over I started back on the door as a hostess and then worked the Bunny Bar and I had a great time working it with Madame Suzette and Dennis, Big Daddy both spending most of their time there the place was always hopping, something exciting was almost always going on, a lot of famous people have come to the ranch and often times been guests of the ranch, there are many VIP suites there. I also feel personally that starting at the bottom and working your way up is a great way to learn about your company, even Madame Suzette started as a hostess at one time. It was great timing when I moved up to "shift manager" because while working the bar was a lot of fun those 12 hour shifts were tough on my aging feet not that I sat a lot as a shift manager but it was enough but I actually enjoyed all three positions I worked during my employment there but I'm getting a little bit a head of myself again, there is just so much I want to tell you, I have some really great fun stories along with a little drama also, you don't think you can put close to three dozen gorgeous women under one roof and not have any drama do you? While these ladies did get a long amazing and wonderfully well it just ain't gonna happen, you got that many gorgeous gals in one house you are bound to have drama and speaking of drama......
Before we leave Miss Kitty's for the ranch, I promised to tell you about the "Hooker from Hell". I won't use her real name, all of the girls have working or stage names and this one was called Missy and she had been transferred to Miss Kitty's because she seemed to have a few issues with a couple of the Bunnyranch ladies, seems she would get a little liquored up in spite of the scrutinizing on the drinking of the ladies and she tended to get rowdy, rude, mean and nasty and she was finally moved after choking one of her co-workers. Most of the girls choose to be there, choose to do this for a living I have a feeling that it wasn't Missy's choice to be there it was her best shot at living the life style her ex-husband had accustomed her too, she had no real education and was now a single mother and she had a big chip on her shoulder before she ever arrived. She was an absolutely beautiful woman, kind of dark complected as though maybe of Hispanic decent and maybe with some American Indian also, she had high cheekbones and didn't tolerate alcohol well at all.
And let me tell you when she arrived at Miss Kitty's it's like she brought Hell with her 
and she was mad as hell and there would be hell to pay for everyone, she'd make sure of it one way or another. It takes a unique individual to be able to do what these ladies do for a living and not allow it to effect you in a negative way, it is such a personal thing that you are sharing with others for monetary compensation and most have issue's coping and as a result a lot of these women resort to some kind of substance abuse to desensitise them from emotional conflicts they have in this business. They must be able to separate their work from their personal life and due to the intimate nature of this business it is a very hard thing to accomplish for many, however there are also many who have no problem doing this for a living and keeping it completely separate from their lives away from the house and the business. Those are the one's that have that unique mind set it takes to be extremely successful in this business and many do really enjoy the sex, some simply love men, love sex and are perfectly suited to this business but Missy was not one of these.Missy had come from a lower income, impoverished life style and had a tough time growing up but she had found her prince charming who had taken her away from all of that and gave her a life style that she loved and had become accustomed to, it was the life she'd always wanted and the icing on the cake was her beautiful daughter. One day for reasons unknown to me all of this fell apart and went away from Missy, her and her husband were getting a divorce and their daughter had become the focal point of a bitter custody dispute this combined with the fact that Missy had limited resources and education which would not allow her to maintain that life style that she had become accustomed to and loved, the one she had longed for as a child growing up in a lower income, impoverished neighborhood. She did not want to give up her new life style but without a good education that would have given her the potential to make the income necessary to maintain the lifestyle she was compelled into prostitution, it is one legal profession here in Nevada which allows women the potential to make a high income and it doesn't take a college degree, it's a very attainable job for a woman who wants to make a lot of money and has a limited education. Today, still a woman holding the same position as a man is more than likely earning a lot less money for doing it, prostitution is just the opposite the potential is there for these ladies to make tons of money so it's very appealing to many and it was the only opportunity that Missy could find that might allow her to continue this lifestyle she enjoyed and wanted to continue raising her daughter in, it was important to her that her daughter grow up in a better environment than she had, she also needed a lot of money to fight her ex-husband to maintain custody of her daughter, she needed a good attorney and they are expensive. Unfortunately for Missy she had a common difficulty reconciling this profession she had chosen with her moral integrity and ethic's so it made her bitter and angry and she turned to substance abuse in an effort to numb her, to deaden her emotions because she knew it was her only hope, her only way out of the messy situation she had now found herself in and she wanted it to work, she needed it to work, she had to find a way to make it work, period!
The substance abuse wasn't working for her though, all it did was bring out the anger and pain she felt inside and she took it out on everyone around her. At first I butted heads with her big time, she acted like a total bitch, she was rude, crude and nasty she would find a way to get totally smashed almost everyday and then start taking her anger out on clients, the other ladies and I seemed to be one of her favorite targets and it was my job to try and keep her under control and behaving properly during her shifts so you can see how this lead to the head butting, she was driving me nuts just waiting and anticipating when she would go off and on who, it got to be a daily ritual. I'm not quite sure when things changed but I think it might have been right after her ex-husband had found out what she was doing to earn a living and although it is a legal profession here in Nevada most people see it as inappropriate and back in California her ex was counting on the judge that would oversee their custody fight to see it just that way, he had threaten to inform the judge of this new lifestyle she was living and use it as a means of getting full custody of their daughter and Missy loved her child, she was the one good thing Missy had accomplished so far in her brief life and she would fight to the death to keep and protect her daughter from this abusive asshole she had once shared a life with. He had money though and he could afford to hire a good attorney and if Missy were to have any chance of maintaining custody of her daughter she'd have to fight fire with fire just any attorney would not do she also had to have a good one, one that specialized in custody cases. She finally shared her fear with me one night she had no clue how she was going to be able to accomplish this then a client came in that wanted one of those what I would call depraved, sick kind of parties, one I don't understand, I think the kind of person that seeks this kind of activity for sexual gratification must have some kind of severe mental and physical abuse of large proportion in their history somewhere. This is the type of party that requires big bucks to have though and many women will have no part of it for any amount of money because even if your on the giving rather than receiving end of it, it's still repugnant and disgusting at best. This man wanted someone who would urinate and defecate onto his face and even into his mouth and now you understand why this type of activity is so offensive and why it takes so much money to convince someone to do it but that kind of money is what Missy needed to hire the high quality specialist attorney she needed to fight and win her custody battle for her daughter and knowing that her ex husband planned on using her profession as a weapon against her in court made it all the more a priority now.
So she gave this man a tour and they negotiated a party that would give him everything he desired and compensation she thought was worth her performing these acts this man in his deviated sick mind needed to acheive sexaul gratification for himself. Once the party had been booked Missy told me that she wasn't sure she could go through with it, she found it excruiatingly offensive but she also felt she had no choice but to find a way to go through with it because it would give her what she needed at the moment a lot of money so she asked if I would let her drink a little more that the one drink per hour she had been limited to and under the circumstances I couldn't have ever said no to her understanding what was at stake here. The client was in her room taking a shower and so she drank the booze straight down quickly and returned to her room to "party on" after a short while she returned to the bar area and said she was able to do the urination part and he was very pleased with this but she was still having trouble and could not yet deficate onto his face and into his mouth as he had requested and she had agreed to. I ask her if she wanted to back out and try to renegotiate the party, I was willing to help her if she wanted but she was determined to get the job done and I was feeling very simpathetic for her and knowing why I was hoping for her success also so I poured her a very big shot of Remy and for a moment we joked about the situation to try and lighten it up a bit and off she went back to complete the party. It seemed like an eternity but she finally returned triumphantly to the parlor with her client and you could tell by the smile on his face and his muted quiet behavior that he was satisfied with the results, he didn't stay long he pretty much walked straight to the door and left immediately.
As soon as he was out the door Missy let out a loud triumphant yell and grabbed me and hugged me as though to thank me for offering all the support I could in everyway I could at the time. And then it was a flutter of conversation with bouts of joyful dancing and celebration of her success at accomplishing her mission with the alcohol she had consumned that night she should have been unconcious but she was stone cold sober but jublulent she could now return to California and battle for her daughter with every confidence that she'd win and by the time the evening had ended Missy and I were now very good friends and when she left to go back to California we hugged told each other that we would miss the other and that we loved each other and it was meant with complete sincerity. I talked to her on the phone a couple times after that and she had custody of her daughter and she was happy and doing well and I was happy for my friend and I still love her although I haven't heard from her in years, I'm assuming that she, being the beautiful, creative butterfly she was is living that life she wanted to live with her daughter and that she has found love and happiness in her life, at least that's what I hope for her, she wasn't a bad person she was a highly intelligent wonderful person who was just in a bad place in her life and I'm glad we all made it through successfully to the other side.
Of course, the photo's I used are not of her, they are pic's I found that are similar to what she looked like and to try and depict a bit of her personality, anger aside she was funny, witty, very intelligent, a brave fighter no doubt and a damn good one so I have little doubt of her being anything but successful in her indeavers but she just wasn't suited to this profession as I said it takes a special mind set, some have it and some don't but if your one of those that has it you can use it to make some big bucks and even without a college degree but I'll elaborate more on that in the next blog.....Missy, where ever you are I hope your happy and remember I love you.........
